Team management :
- Act as a resource person for the team
- Plan, organize, supervise, and lead all resources and activities within the building electrical team
- Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains and implement them in collaboration with the team
- Participate in the staffing process required to support the team’s growth
- Actively contribute to business development by identifying new clients, partners, and business opportunities
- Serve as an ambassador for the company’s values : Competent, Genuine, Human, and Passionate
- Coach and mentor team members while supporting their technical and professional development
- Collaborate with other departments to support the achievement of the firm’s business objectives
Project management :
- Perform the design of building electrical projects
- Carry out analyses, technical expertise, engineering studies, and technical specifications
- Identify, interpret, and apply the appropriate design standards and codes while ensuring compliance with contractual documents
- Lead and/or conduct feasibility studies, short-circuit studies, design, operational and performance studies related to electrical components, equipment, and communication electronic systems
- Design electrical circuits, components, networks, and installations
- Supervise the installation, modification, testing, and operation of electrical systems and equipment
- Monitor project schedules and manage project budgets in collaboration with the Director
- Represent the firm before clients and define project-related needs
- Participate in the preparation of service proposals
- Ensure services delivered comply with contractual requirements
- Ensure the quality of deliverables provided to clients
The profile we’re looking for
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Be a licensed member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Have relevant experience in engineering consulting
- Possess excellent knowledge of applicable standards and codes
- Be able to effectively represent the company to clients
- Have excellent written communication skills
- Be a strong team player
- Be able to adapt effectively to unforeseen circumstances while meeting established deadlines
