This senior mechanical engineer position offers the opportunity to leverage technical expertise to contribute to the design and delivery of projects related to renewable energy, green energy, chemical processes, and industrial infrastructure.
Challenges awaiting you
- Perform mechanical design for projects related to renewable energy, green energy, and chemical and industrial processes
- Conduct studies, analyses, and design calculations
- Select mechanical equipment based on project requirements
- Participate in the preparation of plans and specifications
- Provide technical support to construction sites when required
- Ensure the quality of deliverables submitted to clients
- Contribute to project management from project acquisition to delivery
- Monitor project schedules and budgets
- Supervise the work of the technical team assigned to projects
- Represent the firm with clients
Profile we’re looking for
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Possess experience in the design of welded and lifting equipment as well as strength of materials calculations
- Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team
