Are you looking to develop your process engineering expertise through projects supporting the energy and industrial sectors?

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to multidisciplinary projects in energy, chemical processes, and industrial markets while developing your technical skills alongside an experienced team.

Challenges awaiting you

  • Participate in engineering studies related to various industrial processes
  • Support process analyses and calculations during preliminary and detailed engineering phases (mass and energy balances, sizing, and optimization)
  • Perform hydraulic calculations under the supervision of experienced engineers
  • Participate in process simulations using tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Petro-SIM, or equivalent software
  • Contribute to the design of process systems and equipment integrated into multidisciplinary projects
  • Participate in the preparation of technical deliverables (calculation notes, specifications, reports, and design documents)
  • Provide technical support to construction teams when required
  • Collaborate with various disciplines involved in project execution

Profile we’re looking for

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Biotechnology, or an equivalent field
  • Be registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or be eligible for registration
  • Have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in engineering consulting, industry, or a related field
  • Have knowledge of process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, Petro-SIM, or ChemCad (asset)
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in process engineering and technical skill development
  • Demonstrate rigor, autonomy, and strong analytical skills
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoy working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
