Are you an experienced Revit technician with a passion for building mechanical systems?
Join gbi and be part of our team based in Repentigny. You will contribute to the design and modeling of electromechanical systems for a variety of projects, while collaborating with dedicated professionals in an environment focused on innovation, precision, and teamwork.
The challenges that await you
- Interpret correctly the plans, drawings, and technical specifications provided as references or prepared by other professionals for coordination and/or integration purposes
- Know the applicable codes, standards, and references in Quebec
- Design and prepare technical plans (in plumbing, controls, ventilation, cooling, and heating)
- Conduct surveys of mechanical installations and draft corresponding plans
- Perform calculations for various mechanical systems using proven methods
- Select and specify different mechanical equipment
- Coordinate mechanical installations with other disciplines : electrical, architectural, structural, civil, food services, etc.
- Participate in the preparation of construction cost estimates
- Review shop drawings submitted by contractors
- Conduct inspections and produce deficiency and/or completion lists upon request
The profile we’re looking for
- Hold a college diploma with a specialization in building mechanical systems
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in building mechanical systems
- Be proficient with the following software: Revit and AutoCAD
- Be familiar with load calculation software (TRACE and HAP)
- Have relevant experience in healthcare facilities (asset)
- Have relevant experience in consulting engineering (asset)
