gbi is looking for a civil engineering graduate to join the transportation team starting May 2026.
The role involves supervising bridge and structure construction sites and providing hands-on field experience.
The challenges that await you
- Monitor construction work, and prepare daily reports and notices to the contractor
- Carry out technical and administrative follow-up (quantity tracking)
- Interpret engineering drawings
- Ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Annotate as-built drawings
- Perform any other related tasks that may contribute to the successful completion of projects
The profile we’re looking for
- Be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in structural engineering
- Be a registered member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec as an EIT
- Have experience in load-bearing capacity assessment (an asset)
- Hold a valid ASP construction card
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in French, both written and spoken
- Show flexibility and adaptability to work with various clients
- Exhibit strong teamwork skills
