gbi is seeking a civil engineering technician to oversee infrastructure construction sites in Repentigny, as part of a multidisciplinary and dynamic team. The challenges that await you
- Carry out supervision of roadway, site development, and underground infrastructure works (water mains, sanitary and storm sewers, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental standards
- Validate various schedules and quantity sheets
- Coordinate and approve work performed by the laboratory
- Complete daily reports
- Prepare non-compliance reports
- Perform measurements and progressive quantities tracking
- Ensure follow-up on modifications and approve changes in coordination with the project manager
The profile that we’re looking for
- Hold a DEC in civil engineering or any other relevant discipline
- Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Hold training in civil engineering site supervision (infrastructure/civil)
- Possess knowledge of the specifications and procedures of the City of Montreal
- Have knowledge of BNQ standards
- Hold an ASP Construction card
- Be proficient in French, both written and spoken
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
- Enjoy working outdoors (summer and winter)
- Be able to work long hours on the construction site
