University Intern - Construction Site Supervision

gbi is seeking a Construction Site Inspection Supervisor Intern to join our Urban Infrastructure team for summer 2026, at our Repentigny office.

The challenges awaiting you

Under the supervision of and in collaboration with the Senior Construction Site Supervisor, you will:

  • Perform construction site inspection related to roadwork, site development, and underground infrastructure (watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental standards
  • Participate in the validation of various quantity reports
  • Participate in coordinating work performed by the laboratory
  • Perform any other related tasks that may assist in project delivery

The profile we’re looking for

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Hold a college diploma (DEC) in Civil Engineering (an asset)
  • Good command of French, both spoken and written
  • Hold a valid ASP Construction Health and Safety Card
  • Hold a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
  • Enjoys working outdoors (summer and winter)
  • Have the ability to work long hours on construction sites
