gbi is seeking a civil engineering college intern to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team in Joliette for summer 2026.
The challenges awaiting you
Under the supervision of and in collaboration with the Senior Construction Site Supervisor, you will:
- Perform construction site supervision related to roadwork, site development, and underground infrastructure (watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental standards
- Participate in the validation of various quantity reports
- Participate in coordinating work performed by the laboratory
- Perform any other related tasks that may assist in project delivery
The profile we are looking for
- Currently enrolled in a DEC in Civil Engineering
- Good command of French, both spoken and written
- Valid ASP Construction Health and Safety Card
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
- Enjoys working outdoors (summer and winter)
- Ability to work long hours on construction sites
