Bridges and Structures

gbi is looking for a civil engineering graduate to join the transportation team starting May 2026.

The role involves supervising bridge and structure construction sites and providing hands-on field experience.

The challenges that await you

  • Monitor construction work, and prepare daily reports and notices to the contractor
  • Carry out technical and administrative follow-up (quantity tracking)
  • Interpret engineering drawings
  • Ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Annotate as-built drawings
  • Perform any other related tasks that may contribute to the successful completion of projects

The profile we’re looking for

  • Be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in structural engineering
  • Be a registered member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec as an EIT
  • Have experience in load-bearing capacity assessment (an asset)
  • Hold a valid ASP construction card
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in French, both written and spoken
  • Show flexibility and adaptability to work with various clients
  • Exhibit strong teamwork skills
