The challenges that await you
- Plan, study, and evaluate electrical equipment and systems
- Conduct feasibility studies, short-circuit studies, as well as design, operation, and performance assessments of electrical components, equipment, and electronic communication systems
- Prepare cost estimates, design specifications for electrical systems and installations, and write reports
- Design electrical circuits, components, networks, and installations
- Supervise the installation, modification, testing, and operation of electrical systems and equipment
- Support technicians, draftspersons, and junior/intermediate engineers
- Conduct site supervision during construction
- Monitor and follow up on contractor schedules
The profile we’re looking for
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Have experience in consulting engineering, in a similar role
- Have experience working on commercial and institutional projects
- Be able to professionally represent the company with clients
- Be fluent in spoken and written French
- Be familiar with the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, as well as lighting calculation software (AGI32) or Arc Flash analysis tools
