Are you a passionate civil technician? Your place is at gbi as a technician – construction site supervision within our Infrastructure team, at our Quebec City or Joliette office.
The challenges that await you
- Conduct construction site supervision and monitor contractors’ schedules
- Ensure the quality of materials
- Perform provisional and final inspections of the work
- Complete daily reports
- Follow up with project managers
- Carry out commissioning of equipment and processes
- Prepare site instructions and validate contractors’ pay applications
- Attend site meetings
The profile we’re looking for
- Hold a DEC in civil engineering or any other relevant discipline
- Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Have training in civil engineering construction site supervision (infrastructure/civil)
- Possess knowledge of the City of Montreal’s specifications and procedures
- Possess knowledge of MTQ standards as well as BNQ standards
- Hold a valid ASP Construction card
- Have strong command of French, both written and spoken
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle
- Enjoy working outdoors (summer and winter)
- Be able to work long hours on construction sites
