Residential

Located in Terrebonne, the Jardins Angora project perfectly illustrates the firm’s ability to design sustainable and environmentally conscious urban developments. Spanning more than 2,000,000 sq. ft., this residential community combines high-rise buildings, townhouses, triplexes and single-family homes to create a complete and balanced living environment. In total, nearly 2,000 housing units benefit from surroundings where nature and green spaces take center stage.
The project required the construction of three roundabouts, a collector road, and residential streets designed to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow. The underground parking facilities in the towers help preserve the quality of outdoor spaces and minimize the visual impact of vehicles.
The integration of the infrastructures was designed to promote harmony between urban development and natural environments, while taking into account the current and future needs of the community.
A sustainable residential development in harmony with nature
Designed to provide a modern and green living environment, the project focuses on urban planning centered on sustainability and the quality of living spaces.
The firm managed the design of the infrastructures and oversaw the construction work related to the site development, including three roundabouts, a collector road, and safe, accessible residential streets. The towers also feature underground parking to preserve the integrity of green spaces and ensure residents’ comfort.
At the heart of the development, a natural wetland is preserved and supported through an innovative stormwater management strategy. Infiltration swales, installed along the edge of each street, are designed to recharge the groundwater and maintain the wetland’s water level. Constructed from materials with high infiltration capacity, they allow rainwater to flow naturally into settling basins, thereby reducing the transport of sediments to the surrounding natural areas.
This approach, based on a comprehensive hydraulic analysis, reflects the firm’s commitment to promoting ecological and sustainable solutions in land development.
