Potable Water Reservoir for the Municipality of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac

Our team developed the plans and specifications for the construction of this reservoir, as well as a booster building. This project will help reduce pressure on the manganese treatment system and ensure optimal fire protection for the communities of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac and Pointe-Calumet.

Our team had the privilege of attending the inauguration of this project in the summer of 2025. Congratulations to all the teams involved for this outstanding achievement in service of the communities!

Construction of a Biological Manganese Filtration Plant

The project includes the design and construction of a new plant with a capacity of 27,000 m³/day, featuring :

  • A process building and a wash water reservoir.
  • A biological filtration system for manganese treatment, with a capacity of 9,000 m³/day.
  • A peak bypass system capable of handling 27,000 m³/day.
  • Facilities for sodium hypochlorite dosing and storage.
  • Upgrades to telemetry and modifications to the electrical intake.

All process work, including piping, valves, and pumping, along with automation, instrumentation, control, and integration of control systems, was completed as part of this project.
