Since 2011, gbi has maintained a partnership with Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport, providing recognized expertise in the delivery of various airport engineering and maintenance mandates.

The first project entrusted to gbi involved the complete resurfacing of Runway 06-24 at the airport in 2011, as it was nearing the end of its service life. The mandate included identifying the required interventions to maintain the runway’s level of service, as well as carrying out a major rehabilitation of the runway, ensuring safety and reliability for air traffic.

In 2019, gbi contributed to defining intervention and pavement deterioration phases within regulated areas, as well as to the supervision of targeted repair work on the apron, supporting the optimal maintenance of airside surfaces. All work was carried out in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 quality assurance program, ensuring the quality and safety of the interventions.
