Put your expertise to work on major projects as a civil engineering technician – design, within our Infrastructure team in Quebec City.
At gbi, you will contribute to diverse and concrete projects that shape our communities.
The challenges that await you
- Produce municipal services and road infrastructure plans and profiles using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
- Produce construction details using CAD tools
- Perform various simulations using specialized software (AutoTURN, Vehicle Tracking, etc.)
- Calculate quantities and prepare quantity take-off sheets
- Comply with the CAD standards of different clients
- Perform self-checks of your own work
- Conduct supervision related to roadwork, landscaping, and underground infrastructure (water supply, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, etc.)
- Ensure work complies with plans and specifications
- Ensure compliance with current environmental standards
The profile we’re looking for
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering or any other relevant discipline
- Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Hold an ASP Construction safety card
- Master AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Master Civil 3D or InRoads software (asset)
- Master MicroStation software (asset)
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in spoken and written French
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
