Are you looking to play a key role in delivering infrastructure projects that shape communities ?

This position offers the opportunity to oversee municipal infrastructure construction projects while working with a multidisciplinary team on large-scale assignments.

Challenges awaiting you

  • Perform site inspection for roadwork, municipal developments, and underground infrastructure projects (watermains, sanitary and storm sewers, etc.)
  • Ensure construction work complies with plans and specifications
  • Monitor compliance with applicable environmental standards and regulations
  • Review quantity sheets and payment certificates
  • Coordinate and approve work carried out by materials testing laboratories
  • Prepare daily site inspection reports
  • Issue non-conformance reports when required
  • Perform quantity measurements and progress estimates
  • Coordinate change requests and obtain approvals in collaboration with the Project Manager

Profile we’re looking for

  • Hold a college diploma (DEC) in Civil Engineering Technology or another relevant discipline
  • Have a minimum of five years of relevant site inspection experience
  • Hold training in civil engineering construction inspection (municipal infrastructure)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the City of Montréal’s specifications and procedures
  • Demonstrate knowledge of BNQ standards
  • Hold a valid ASP Construction certification
  • Demonstrate excellent written and spoken French
  • Hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle
  • Enjoy working outdoors in all seasons
  • Be able to work extended hours on construction sites when required
