This role involves on-site involvement in major construction projects and may require travel to remote regions, including the Côte-Nord area.
Challenges awaiting you
- Support construction site teams in the use of daily management tools
- Coach internal teams and contribute to skills development across site operations
- Support problem-solving initiatives (root cause analysis, 5 Whys, etc.)
- Implement Lean tools such as Pareto analysis, opportunity matrices, the 7 wastes, and accountability frameworks
- Support the effective use of functional support teams (HSE advisors, planning advisors, contract management advisors)
- Contribute to the deployment of Lean Construction principles, including the Last Planner System methodology
- Support change management efforts with project stakeholders
Profile we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, an asset
- Lean certification, an asset
- Minimum of 9 years of experience supporting major construction projects
- Strong knowledge of Lean Construction principles and continuous improvement practices
- Solid understanding of the Last Planner System methodology
- Good knowledge of major project management processes and tools
- Willingness to travel to construction sites as required
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Collaborative advisory mindset and ability to influence teams
- Agile, adaptable, and responsive to evolving needs
