This role allows you to apply your building mechanical expertise while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on a variety of institutional, residential, private, and public projects.
Challenges awaiting you
- Monitor construction activities on site and track contractors’ schedules
- Verify equipment compliance with approved shop drawings
- Ensure the quality of mechanical installation work
- Ensure construction activities comply with plans and specifications
- Perform measurements and progress payment assessments
- Interpret plans, drawings, and technical specifications to support coordination and integration between disciplines
- Apply applicable Québec codes, standards, and references
- Perform surveys of mechanical installations and prepare related drawings
- Participate in project design and management activities based on experience and interests
- Perform any other related duties contributing to project completion
Profile we’re looking for
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in Building Mechanics or a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Have a minimum of two years of experience in construction site inspection
- Have relevant consulting engineering experience (asset)
- Hold a valid ASP Construction certification
- Hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle
- Demonstrate strong written and spoken French skills
