Site Inspector
Building Mechanics

Are you looking to contribute to building projects by ensuring rigorous construction site monitoring ?

This role allows you to apply your building mechanical expertise while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on a variety of institutional, residential, private, and public projects.

Challenges awaiting you

  • Monitor construction activities on site and track contractors’ schedules
  • Verify equipment compliance with approved shop drawings
  • Ensure the quality of mechanical installation work
  • Ensure construction activities comply with plans and specifications
  • Perform measurements and progress payment assessments
  • Interpret plans, drawings, and technical specifications to support coordination and integration between disciplines
  • Apply applicable Québec codes, standards, and references
  • Perform surveys of mechanical installations and prepare related drawings
  • Participate in project design and management activities based on experience and interests
  • Perform any other related duties contributing to project completion

Profile we’re looking for

  • Hold a college diploma (DEC) in Building Mechanics or a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Have a minimum of two years of experience in construction site inspection
  • Have relevant consulting engineering experience (asset)
  • Hold a valid ASP Construction certification
  • Hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle
  • Demonstrate strong written and spoken French skills
