Challenges awaiting you
- Supervise and support junior and intermediate technicians and collaborate closely with engineers
- Develop, interpret, and validate complex plans and drawings using Revit
- Ensure compliance of drawings with applicable codes, standards, and references in Quebec
- Perform technical site surveys and prepare complete plans and specifications
- Carry out surveys of existing electrical installations and ensure their modeling
- Participate in coordination and design meetings and contribute to technical direction decisions
- Coordinate integration with other disciplines such as architecture, structure, and mechanical engineering and resolve interface issues
- Ensure quality, consistency, and proper management of information within project models and databases
Profile we’re looking for
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in building electrical technology or equivalent training
- Have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Advanced knowledge of BIM processes including modeling, coordination, and best practices
- Strong knowledge of building electrical systems and design practices
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Act as a technical resource for the team
- Fluent in French, both spoken and written
