Looking to contribute to large-scale road projects within a transportation team recognized for its expertise ?
This position involves actively participating in the design and delivery of multidisciplinary transportation infrastructure projects.
Challenges awaiting you
- Carry out the design of road engineering projects
- Design roadway geometry, pavement structures, grading, and drainage systems
- Size storm sewer pipes and retention structures
- Prepare and coordinate technical documents including reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Ensure compliance with client standards and requirements
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary transportation projects including bridges and structures, traffic management, lighting, and intelligent transportation systems
- Mentor Engineers-in-Training (EITs)
- Perform design follow-up and review shop drawings during construction
- Ensure compliance with project budgets and schedules
Profile we’re looking for
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
- Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Possess knowledge in road engineering
- Hold an ASP Construction certification
- Hold AQTR certifications in traffic control an asset
