This senior building mechanical technician·ne position offers the opportunity to act as a technical reference while actively contributing to project coordination, deliverable quality, and workflow optimization.

Coordination
- Act as the primary technical contact for the team’s technicians regarding HVAC design and internal standards
- Ensure technical oversight regarding compliance with Quebec standards and best practices
- Participate in continuous improvement of work methods, standards, and internal processes
- Contribute to planning and optimizing workshop workflows in collaboration with the service manager
- Mentor and support technicians through technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and integration of new team members
- Support the service manager in technical project coordination and maintaining overall project quality
Conception and technical realisations
- Design and prepare mechanical building plans including ventilation, heating, air conditioning, and plumbing
- Perform calculations of mechanical systems following recognized methods
- Select and size mechanical equipment
- Conduct site surveys and produce as-built drawings of existing installations
- Coordinate mechanical systems with other disciplines such as electrical, architecture, structural, and civil
- Participate in cost estimation preparation
- Review shop drawings submitted by contractors
- Conduct site visits as needed and produce deficiency lists
Profile we’re looking for
- Hold a college diploma with a specialization in building mechanical systems
- Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in building mechanical systems
- Master REVIT and AutoCAD software
- Possess relevant experience in engineering consulting, an important asset
