Challenges awaiting you
- Participate in the design of road and airport engineering projects
- Collaborate on geometric design, pavement structures, grading and drainage
- Contribute to the preparation of plans, specifications, estimates and technical reports
- Participate in surveys, inspections and construction site supervision
- Conduct site visits and monitor construction activities in collaboration with the project team
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, client requirements, and health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the various disciplines involved in transportation projects
- Contribute to schedule and budget monitoring under the supervision of the project manager
Profile we’re looking for
- Have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline
- Be a membership with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) as a candidate to the engineering profession (CEP)
- Have ideally, a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or field experience gained through internships
- Have a strong interest in fieldwork and availability to travel to construction sites
- Have a ASP Construction health and safety certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Have a strong attention to detail, autonomy, teamwork skills and ability to learn
- Have a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
