Join gbi as an Intermediate Civil Engineer within our Infrastructure team in Repentigny.
Challenges awaiting you
- Meet and communicate with clients to clearly understand and validate their expectations and needs
- Participate in the preparation of service proposals
- Research and analyze project inputs, including existing plans, regulations, surveys and studies
- Design water distribution, sewer and roadway networks
- Perform hydraulic calculations
- Coordinate the implementation of urban utility networks
- Prepare plans, specifications, tender documents and construction documents
- Estimate required material and equipment quantities, as well as construction costs
- Prepare applications for municipal permits and ministerial authorizations
- Collaborate with other professionals on multidisciplinary projects
- Plan and coordinate civil engineering construction activities
- Occasionally perform construction site supervision.
Profile we’re looking for
- Have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- CHave consulting engineering experience
- Have a minimum of five years of specialized experience in infrastructure engineering
- Have knowledge of stormwater management best practices
- Be familiar with standards and regulations related to water distribution and sewer networks
- Have a strong teamwork skills
- Be motivated to join a team that balances individual needs with project schedules
