Are you a civil engineer passionate about traffic management ?

Join gbi’s Transportation team in Repentigny as a traffic management engineer. You’ll play a key role in planning and coordinating various projects, ensuring safety and maintaining smooth traffic flow throughout infrastructure work.

The challenges that await you

  • Write specifications and reports related to traffic management and signage
  • Develop and validate traffic management plans based on construction phases and methods
  • Support the development of the traffic management team
  • Manage and analyze traffic data
  • Prepare and validate temporary and permanent signage plans
  • Conduct or coordinate site visits and field surveys
  • Assist, when needed, in site supervision regarding traffic management
  • Track traffic management quantities and assist in payment recommendations
  • Contribute to the preparation of service proposals and submission documents
  • Mentor junior engineers (EITs), depending on experience
  • Support other related tasks in traffic planning, such as drafting traffic study reports and managing and analyzing traffic data

The profile we’re looking for

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
  • Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering
  • Be familiar with MTMD and ATC standards
  • Have successfully completed the STC-102 and STC-201 training courses offered by AQTR
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hold a valid ASP construction safety card
