Our infrastructure and water teams combined their expertise to design and implement a complete water treatment system, including the construction of a new sewer network and the installation of a wastewater treatment plant.
This large-scale project, which also included the rehabilitation of several municipal streets and the installation of two pumping stations, helps improve residents’ quality of life while providing more sustainable and efficient wastewater management, a significant step forward for environmental protection. The completion of this mandate involved multiple disciplines: civil engineering, process mechanical engineering, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and control, perfectly illustrating the strength of multidisciplinary collaboration within gbi.
Expertise and Collaboration at the Service of the Project
This project includes, in particular :
- Construction of a vertical-wall pond wastewater treatment plant with a screening pretreatment system, aeration system, and phosphorus removal system.
- Construction of a service building.
- Construction of 2 pumping stations and a main station with control panels.
- Construction of a sanitary sewer.
- Construction of a storm sewer with an outfall to the watercourse.
- Design of measures to ensure optimal stormwater management.
- Rehabilitation of the watermain on certain streets.
- Site drainage.
- Reconstruction of the road structure and paving.
- Restoration of areas affected by the works
