gbi provided full construction supervision for a new building at the Louise-Gravel drinking water treatment plant, designed to house modern electrical systems, electric motor pump units, and diesel-driven pumps.
Our role also included acting as the owner’s representative to support our client in the efficient management of the construction work.
The project involved working on critical water treatment infrastructure that had to remain fully operational throughout the construction period. Coordination between stakeholders and risk management were essential to ensure service continuity. Rigorous planning and clear communication with discipline leads, health and safety (H&S) specialists, and plant operators were key to the project’s success.
Thanks to our multidisciplinary team, gbi ensured coordination, supervision, and strategic planning of all interventions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This project demonstrates our ability to manage essential public service infrastructure while minimizing disruptions to the community.
