The Brasserie Creek Dam plays a key role in regulating water levels within the Ottawa River watershed. The structure is equipped with vertical sliding bottom gates that currently show deficiencies, limiting their ability to ensure effective water level management.

gbi was mandated to support the replacement of these gates as part of a design-build project requiring close coordination between design teams and specialized equipment suppliers. The mandate includes defining design criteria, detailed engineering, and technical coordination of the equipment.
