It was during a Business Analytics course while completing her bachelor’s degree at HEC Montréal that Isabella discovered a passion that would shape the rest of her career.
Although she initially envisioned a career in finance, she quickly realized that what motivates her most is understanding data, interpreting it, and transforming it into practical solutions.

“I enjoy making data tell a story. Behind every dataset, there is always something to understand and an opportunity to improve the way things are done.”
Today, as a Business Analyst and Application Support Specialist at gbi, Isabella holds a unique role within the organization. The first person to take on this position, she serves as a bridge between business teams and the technologies that support their day-to-day work.
Practical solutions with immediate impact
Isabella’s role involves gathering the needs of various departments, analyzing existing processes, and recommending technology solutions tailored to each team’s reality. She also contributes to the implementation of new tools, the development of dashboards, and several projects involving the integration of Microsoft-based solutions.“What I enjoy most is that every day is different. I collaborate with many teams and can quickly see the impact of my work.”
To effectively support employees, Isabella takes the time to understand their challenges and day-to-day realities. By mapping processes and analyzing workflows, she is able to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend the most appropriate solutions.“I like being the bridge between users’ needs and technology solutions. My goal is to make work easier for our teams by providing the right tools at the right time.” What motivates her most is contributing to the evolution of practices and the continuous improvement of processes. She appreciates her colleagues’ openness to innovation and their willingness to embrace new ways of working.

An environment that fosters continuous learning
For Isabella, joining gbi marked the beginning of a rewarding professional journey. From her very first days, she benefited from strong mentorship and support, allowing her to quickly build both her skills and confidence.
As this was my first job after university, the support I received made all the difference. I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by people who are always willing to help, while also being given a great deal of autonomy and trust from the very beginning.
Outside of work, Isabella enjoys travelling and discovering new cultures. A passionate foodie, she also spends part of her free time taking cooking classes and expanding her culinary knowledge. Food has always played an important role in her life. Having grown up with a French father, she developed an early appreciation for gastronomy and French pastry-making. Whether it’s mastering a classic recipe or learning a new technique, she enjoys the challenge and attention to detail that baking requires. “Pastry-making requires a great deal of precision and discipline. That’s what I enjoy about it. Much like my work, you need to understand the steps, be methodical, and pay attention to the details to achieve the desired result.”
When asked to describe gbi in three words, her answer comes without hesitation: dynamic, supportive, and expert.
