A 2016 graduate of Polytechnique in chemical engineering, Victoria quickly directed her career toward consulting engineering. Her passion for chemistry and process engineering has always driven her: understanding the transformation of matter and the “why” behind each process inspires her as much as the abstract and conceptual aspects of her profession.
It is this curiosity and desire to help shape the world of tomorrow that led her to the energy sector.
Victoria describes her role within the Energy and Industrial department as a balance between project management and technical expertise: she enjoys structuring projects, establishing rigorous standards, supporting clients, while also being involved in process design, system optimization, and environmental impact assessments. For Victoria, the Energy and Industrial department has ambitious goals: “We want to work on large-scale projects, particularly in energy transition and the modernization of infrastructures such as hydroelectric dams.” She also values long-term collaborations and ongoing technical support.
According to her, the complementarity between disciplines is one of gbi’s strengths. “It’s a great challenge to understand the language of other departments. But when we succeed, we provide a truly comprehensive solution to the client.” This synergy, she believes, allows for a rare coherence between expertise, communication, and operational efficiency. She also recognizes what sets gbi apart in the energy sector: “There is a real willingness to take action, and a wealth of experience that everyone wants to share. Together, we advance ambitious projects that transform the energy landscape.”
Today, Victoria feels “in her element,” fully aligned with her role. “It’s a pleasure to come to the office. I feel I have the freedom and trust needed to fully embrace my responsibilities and contribute to the department’s development.” She also values mentoring the next generation, an aspect close to her heart.
Outside of work, she finds balance by traveling to visit family, taking walks to recharge, or practicing boxing, a sport that allows her to completely disconnect.
