Challenges awaiting you
Under the supervision of a senior principal engineer, you will:
- Prepare electrical plans, specifications and drawings
- Conduct feasibility, design, operation and performance studies for electrical components, equipment and communication systems
- Plan and assess electrical equipment and systems
- Research applicable codes, standards and regulations
- Prepare technical plans and documents
- Design circuits, components, networks and electrical installations
- Conduct mechanical and electrical site surveys and prepare drawings based on collected information
- Design and adapt electrical circuits and systems according to project requirements
Profile we’re looking for
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or be eligible for membership
- Have 0 to 3 years of experience in building electrical engineering
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills in French
- Be proficient in Word, Excel and AutoCAD
- Have knowledge of Revit, AGI32 and ArcFlash (an asset)
